Commercial transaction between Vietnam and Brazil increases sharply.

Commercial transaction between Vietnam and Brazil in the first 6 months of this year reached 876.574 million USD, increase by 35% over the same period last year, including trade turnover increased sharply in both directions.
According to the Ministry of Development, Industry and Foreign Trade of Brazil, in the first half of this year, this largest Latin America economy exports goods worth 507.018 million USD to Vietnamese market, while imports reached 369.556 million USD, increase by 44.76% and 23.4% respectively over the same period last year.

Brazilian’s goods export to Vietnam are mainly soybean meal, by-products from processing soybean oil, cotton, soybean oil, raw tobacco, lumber and by-products of poultry; and largely imported from Vietnam footwear , frozen fish fillets, printers.

Traded between the two countries increased sharply in the context of trade between Brazil to the world increased by only 1.66% in the first 6 months of 2012, reaching 227.358 billion USD due to the negative impact of international financial crisis.
