Mr. Pham Nhat Vuong reached the world’s richest billionaires list of Forbes

The prestigious magazine Forbes has recently published a list of the world’s richest billionaires. Accordingly, Mr. Pham Nhat Vuong – Chairman of Vingroup has entered the list.

As of March 2013, Mr. Vuong has total assets worth 1.5 billion USD and ranked 974th in the Forbes list.

Mr. Vuong is the 1st Vietnamese in the list, this 44-year-old billionaire is the founder of Vingroup – an investment group in the field of real estate, hotel and health care sector. Mr.Vuong studied in Moscow and then moved to Ukraine.

In Ukraine, he founded the instant noodles company called Technocom. After moving back to Vietnam in 2001 to invest in real estate, he sold Technocom to Nestle in 2009.

Last year, Vincom merged into Vinpearl Land to form Vingroup – one of the most valuable companies on the Vietnam stock market.

This is the 27th year that Forbes announced the ranking of the world’s richest people. Forbes’ team of reporters has spent several months tracking public companies, the properties that have not been announced and the luxury properties to be calculated.

This year, Forbes list includes 1426 billionaires with total assets of up to 5,400 billion USD.
